I am not a chef and hardly deal with meat. My old knife is acceptable for veggies and fruit. However, it is really a pain to slice meat. It took me forever to get the size I needed. I could not get thin slices. With this knife, my previous problem is solved. I can easily cut through the meat. The weight enhances the function. The knife was packed carefully with a protective cap to prevent chips on the blade's tip.

This has to be one of the best knives I've ever had the pleasure of using! You know how you can gently run your thumb across the edge of a knife to kind of feel how sharp it is? Well don't do that with this knife, you'll get a serious cut! This knife is so sharp it's incredible! It has a very nice handle that's molded nicely to the shape of your hand and fingers. I highly recommend!

Very nice chef knife. It is quite sharp and easy to clean. Has quite a bit of weight to it but still feels comfortable in your hand. The extra weight seems to help with cutting by not needing much pressure at all to make deep cuts in meat. Great Knife!

I am very pleased with the aesthetics of this knife, as well how well the edge has held up. This instantly went to my go to for everything. The handle feels great. Not slippery like some tend to be. Functional and looks great. At $90, it's a little on the pricey side, but it is a quality knife. Happy to see this on my knife block.
